After a washing machine leak caused damage across three floors on Tuesday, the repair company’s preferred mitigation team set up drying equipment immediately.By Thursday night, I realized the water damage company wanted me to sign a document that appeared highly detrimental. I contacted my agent, Melissa Miller, for advice. Penny stepped in right away and was incredibly helpful. After reviewing the paperwork, she advised me not to sign and contacted the owner of the repair company. He has since agreed to call the mitigation team and resolve the issue with the documents. Pennys’extensive knowledge was able to figure out who to call at the repair companies insurance company, Travelers, so as to get the ball rolling In order to dry out my house and prevent mold and rot. One does not know how good their insurance is until they need it. I for one know that State Farm with a great agency at Melissa Miller‘s office is outstanding. Kudos!"

Her and her staff have always been overly accommodating and incredibly knowledgeable. I just called and talked to Paul tonight at 4:55pm they close at 5pm.
I needed to drop and add a vehicle, I told him we could do it tomorrow, I didn’t realize how late it was. He said don’t worry about it, will do it now. By time we were finished it was almost 5.30. May not seem like a big deal, but in today’s world, to me it was pretty big deal!

The claims adjuster originally approved my claim in full before he realized that certain procedures hadn't been followed.
